Communications Ministries strives to create clear, concise, well-designed communication which leads people to experience the transforming love of Christ.
Communications Ministries also creates, curates and produces opportunities for people to express that transforming love of Christ.
Communications Ministries at La Jolla Presbyterian Church has four pillars:
- Keep our congregation informed of what’s happening at the church. This happens on a micro and a macro level, everything from what hymn we’re singing right now, to when is next year’s Women’s retreat.
- Inform and invite others into what we are doing. This includes local La Jolla Communities, but also larger geographic and online communities i.e. Jerusalem, Judea, and the ends of the Earth.
- La Jolla Presbyterian Church is richly blessed with resources and expertise. We are generous with those resources, and bless other Christian churches, organizations, and mission partners in training, educating and equipping them with excellent communications.
- Most importantly, as a ministry. Our highest calling is to share the good news of Jesus Christ, and to do it prayerfully and with integrity.
We consistently communicate as a unified church working toward the same vision and mission.
A majority of our communications will be focused on, or circulated back to, inviting someone to attend worship with us.
Our guests and members are to be focused on more than our ministries (programs).
We strive to excel in matters such as timeliness, accuracy, design, layout, and ease of use.
